Thanks for all your support my Yamaha 450's have been running great this year!

Sammy Halbert - Current AMA Pro Racing Harley-Davidson Insurance Grand National Championship Points Leader (Sept. 1st, 2011)

From Ronald Berends on Kibblewhite's Facebook Wall - 01-17-2012

What a great company. I was in need of there valve guide seals for a dual spring setup. But here in the Netherlands, I cannot get them. 1 email later, they are shipping them with no costs at all to me. Now that's what I call service.....

From Tony Madrid on Kibblewhite's Facebook Wall - 09-17-2011

purchased kibblewhite valves and top end rebuild for my trx 450.. awsome parts guys!! ive had no problems at all. keep up the good work people!

Review - Fanstastic valves - 5 stars
These are really nice valves, I could tell as sson as I took them out of the package. The coating and craftsmanship is exquisite. I installed these in my 06 kx250f along with the heavy duty spring kit and stage 2 cams. Great improvement!"

From NoHarmNoFear on Motosport.com - 2011

I got a Honda CRF 250r 05 model which love to eat the valves up, and with that and not enough oil I blew up the whole motor, so I rebuilt her all the way and added a nice addon the valves, they bring alot more power and hold alot longer and dont have to be adjusted like the dumm old oem ones do.

From caferacer.net Forum - 08-13-2011

if they are the same size, intake and exhaust they are legal. Honda doesn't have any more intakes. I'd buy Kibblewhite over any other "unknown" brands, and they are a hell of a lot closer than Australia. cheers, tex

From Tazio Fullmer on Facebook - 07-10-2011

I have run your valve train products in every motor I have ever built!!! never a problem once, my last shovel, balanced, shaved flywheels, 3-31/32 stroke, 3-5/8 bore, dual plug, dual magnetos, 40 mm Dellorto carb,3" open belt, kick only... 82 cu.in. 72 hp..... i been around awhile and they will be in my next motor also...

From Triumph Rat Motorcycle Forums - 04-12-2011

I'm about to start on my head rebuild. I'm going to use Kibblewhite products. I have a completely rebuilt 72 650 motor and am using a 1966 TR6 head. will be using the larger valves for 67 and up.

From Quadclass.com Forum - 03-26-2011

So, lets recap, more horsepower/better performance, more durable than stock valves, and pretty affordable. do you need another reason to use kibblewhite Black Diamonds?

From ThumperTalk.com Forum - 03-07-2011

Happy Kibblewhite customer here. I've run their valves in several of my Honda XR builds. Not one problem so far.

From SingleOver-HeadCam4.net Forums - 03-01-2011

I think the Kibblewhite deal is a great deal for those of us that are looking for more power out of our CB400F, plus you can not get better quality than Kibblewhite, plus they are made in the USA. It's a win / win for everyone.

From CRFsOnly.com Forum - 01-22-2011

Time to rebuild your head. my recommendation is to replace the stock valves with kibblewhite stainless valves. the kibblewhites are incredibly stable and durable so don't wait until it happens at an inconvenient time. last spring, I went to Moab and decided to proactively do the valve job and install kibblewhites just to make sure the bike would perform well for that trip and well beyond.

From Wild Guzzi Forums - 01-09-2011

Does anyone have any experience with Kibblewhite vales? Any issues you know of?

Re: Kibblewhite valves

I've been using them for over 20 years in Nortons, Guzzis and BMWs. They are excellent and as good or better than most factory valves. Their guides are also very good and available oversized (OD) if your guides have been replaced multiple times. I've only used standard sizes though.

Re: Kibblewhite valves

Good stuff. Wouldn't hesitate putting them in anything. Never had custom sizes done, but I know they can make just about anything. Great people to deal with as well!

Re: Kibblewhite valves

I am sure people had Kibblewhite took care of them......they have always have had a great reputation for this.

From Kawaman on Motosport.com - 2011

Excellent product, good replacement for stock components strong and durable and have had many hours of trouble free riding comes with bottoms seats and retainers.

From Shoesmith in MA on Motosport.com - 2011

Review - The best of the best!! - 5 stars
Next time you rebuild your top end make sure to use kibblewhite. Do it right the 1st time.

From ThumperTalk Forum - 09-21-2010

I wouldn't run Kibblewhite Black Diamond valves with stock retainers and springs. I really think you'll have an issue with valve float.

The Kibblewhite catalogue shows keepers and springs can be purchased separately.

Funnily enough, the exhaust valves in the CRF aren't titanium. They're stainless. We've ground a couple to find out and run them again with no issues. I'd recommend the Kibblewhite intake valve kit, which has two inlet valves, two spring sets, retainers, spring seats and seals.

We've had Kibblewhite valves in one of our bikes for over 90 hours with no issues at all. And we've just worn out a second set of Honda inlet valves in the other one at 120 hours.

From ThumperTalk Forum - 09-12-2010

I have a 06 crf250x which I just installed new Kibblewhite stainless steal valves in and they are awesome. Just got done with the first ride and I can tell a huge difference.

From ThumperTalk Forum - 08-23-2010

Kibblewhite is a well known valve mfg for bikes to high performance cars. I have the SS valves and springs in my RMZ 250. The valves did not move after about 10 hours of use.

I do believe, but don't quote me, that you must use SS springs with the SS valves. I could be wrong, but I wouldn't use the stock springs with aftermarket valves. Like any product some may hate Kibblewhite, but I had good luck with them....

From TeryxForums.net Forum - 08-05-2010

This is my experience i had with titanium valves in my crf 450, i ended up puting kibble white valves in my 450 and have no valve issues.

From DirtRiderMagazine.com Forum - 07-21-10

I always use the Kibble White valves and love them. They last a long long time.

From Southbayriders.com Forums - 04-18-2010

Every body I know that bought a CRF250F new or used has had to rebuild the cylinder head. The trick is to use Kibblewhite valves, stainless, instead of the stock titanium valves, makes them into reliability city.

From ThumperTalk Forum - 04-03-2010

I put a full set of the kw valves and the kw spring kit in our 250x and have been running them for over a year. They have worked out fine. The oem honda exhaust valves are good, and really a kw intake kit is all you need.

From ThumperTalk Forum - 04-06-2010

I have never heard anything but good things about the durability of KW valves.

From ThumperTalk Forum - 03-22-2010

I am by no means an expert on 4 stroke heads. I purchase Kibblewhite stainless steel intake valves and the spring kit. The spring kit had an inner and outer spring for each intake valve. AS Racing did an excellent job of rebuilding the head. It is still running great a year later with no valve adjustments with 40+ hours.

From ADV Rider Forum - 02-21-2010

The kibble-white guides have a great rep.

From Arizona Quads.com Forum - 02-18-2010

I was outside the six month warranty and they wouldn't fix. I ordered Kibble white valves and installed them myself and never had another problem.

From ADV Rider Forum - 02-12-2010

I put Kibble White stainless valves in on mine and now have over 3,000 miles on them. They have not moved at all. Ride the bike until the valves zero, then put in Kibble Whites valves/springs. Have AS Racing do the work, he's THE most reputable shop for Kibble Whites and works through CRF's Only website.

From SuzukiCentral Forum - 02-13-2010

I use Kibblewhite valves in almost every engine I build & have no problems.

2009

From Dirtridermagazine.com Forum - 09-24-2009

We put the Kibblewhite valves in our 04 YZ250F in 2004 and no problems yet. We ride hard on the weekends most of the time with a ride during the week now and then. I love this dirt stuff.

From Dirtridermagazine.com Forum - 09-24-2009

Hey, Kibblewhite fans--nice to hear that, I just got done with a reply to another post about using these valves and I found that they are cheaper than OEM and last longer. No Brag Just Fact!!

From RME4X4.com Forum - 09-01-2009

Being a past owner of a Honda 4 Stroke, make sure you know the maintenance history of it. If the titanium valves have been shimmed, they are going to be junk in a very short period of time. The stock Honda valves will last for about 1300 miles. When it is time, replace them with stainless steel valves from Kibble White. You will get over 3,000 miles.

From DucatiMonster.com Forum - 05-22-2009

…. The engineer highly recommends these guys, they do damn good work. http://www.blackdiamondvalves.com/tech_support.htm

Yeah, Kibblewhite, from your link, was the name I was trying to dredge up. Great catalog - just reading through it makes me want to build a motor.

From LTR450HQ.com Forum - 02-26-2009

On a side note, many of the people with big build bikes run kibble white's black diamond valves and I here nothing but good things of them.

2008

From Dirtbikeworld.net Forums - 08-21-2008

I did around 50-60 hours on the 06 250R after i had wideline install with the kibblewhite ss inlet kit and they still hadn't budged, very impressed.

From AllThingsMoto.com Forum - 07-27-2008

Thanks for all the advice! I went with a top end gasket kit, all OEM stuff and Kibblewhite Black diamond valves with their heavy duty spring kit also from moto sport outlet. Installed everything my self. Bike runs excellent. Checked the valves after the first ride and made adjustments on the intake and exhaust valves. Checked them about a month later and they are spot on! Looks like a job well done!!!!!!!

From AllThingsMoto.com Forum - 06-08-2008

Re: CRF 450R intake valves

From what I have read, kibblewhite is the only choice. Also the folks I've talked with say they no longer have valve problems after switching. I know I will be swapping to the here real soon.

Re: CRF 450R intake valves

I had Eric Gorr do my 03 450r with kibblewhite valves. That was very wise investment, I never had trouble with that bike starting after that. I know it ran better.

Re: CRF 450R intake valves

Kibblewhite Black diamond valves with their heavy duty spring kit. It will run like Jedi said but it is absolutely the best money you can spend on your bike. You'll make one adjustment after 2 hrs of ride time and never again. I love mine and wouldn't do anything else.

From CRFsOnly.com Forum - 01-25-2008

I just bought the kibble set up. They did the work for me. What an incredible set of valves and springs.

From ThumperTalk Forum - 01-03-2008

Yes, I put the Kibblewhite kit in my '02 with excellent results, STILL running today. If you have the stock valves reshimmed, the will wear again VERY quickly (as you experienced). Either put in new OEM valves or the Stainless ones for almost zero maintenance. Good luck!

Re: Kibblewhite Stainless Steel Intake Valve and Spring Kit - 01-04-2008

I put the kibblewhites in my 05 after going through almost the same as you and I have had zero movement in about 30 hours of ride time.

Re: Kibblewhite Stainless Steel Intake Valve and Spring Kit - 01-04-2008

thanks guys, thats it then, I'll run with those... y'all take care

Re: Kibblewhite Stainless Steel Intake Valve and Spring Kit - 01-04-2008

I had a 2003 CRF450 that had a bad valve. Replaced with KibbleWhite valves and never had another problem again.

Re: Kibblewhite Stainless Steel Intake Valve and Spring Kit - 01-04-2008

I've changed to Kibblewhite valves in three CRF450s in the past year. It's pretty easy to do. Takes about an hour to pull the head...

2007

From AHSCS Racing Forum - 11-17-2007

I have contacted Dicks racing about getting the head done, I am also considering Eric Gorr, as well as Kibblewhite, I assume that the kibblewhite valves are the best in the industry? I did a rebuild for Paul harrell on his now gone CRF450 which turned out to be a very easy build, I sent the head to Eric Gorr and he used kibblewhite stainless valves.

From AHSCS Racing Forum - 11-18-2007

As a recovering CR450R owner (I needed that power in D class to keep up), I can tell you that in the Honda groups, from CRFSonly.com and Thumpertalk.com pretty much the Kibble Whites are regarded as the best you can buy.

From PlanetMinis.com Forum - 09-23-2007

I had an '02 450, when you need a valve job go to the kibble white stainless steel valve set and your problems will be gone.

From DesertRangers.com Forum - 09-05-2007

I personally like the hondas the one thing to keep in mind is that honda have more valve maintenance to deal with but it is not that big of a deal to do your self. since i have owned it when they get to bad just get the kibblewhite valve kit and the problems are gone for good. check out crfsonly.com lots of good info on that site.

From Stuntlife.com Forum - 04-30-2007

Another 5 minutes I woulda dropped a valve.....the exhaust valves are fine just the intake valves had that issue..Im going with a complete kibblewhite set....because I questioned using different companies products...

2006

From DirtBikeWorld.net Members Forum - 11-01-2006

If the 450 is a possibility go with the Honda. it is killer fast and not un-reliable if you maintain it. Now, if you want it really reliable you can buy Kibblewhite valves in stainless steel and it won't break....

From DirtRider.net Forum - 08-27-2006

It's worth the money to buy the full Kibblewhite kit so you get the good valves, the race spec dual springs, and the titanium retainers. The Kibblewhite valves are made from a high grade stainless while the TRX valve is a lower grade steel that isn't stainless. The TRX valve was designed to be built at a much lower unit cost compared to the Kibblewhite stainless valves. In other words the TRX valve is just a cheap steel valve. Material spec and valve head shape is far superior on the Kibblewhite CRF valve.

On a CRF450 the Kibblewhite setup is a good investment that really pays off in long term reliability.

From DirtRider.net Forum - 08-04-2006

The Kibblewhite spring kits have a very good diagram showing what and where you have to measure.

I've tested a LOT of valves springs and I've found Kibblewhites to be very consistent and true to spec. You should have no problems just setting the installed height and assembling it after a good valve job if you want to do it yourself.

From Stuntlife.com Forum - 04-29-2006

The hot ticket seems to be replacing them with stainless steel valves from Kibblewhite.

From DirtBikeWorld.net Members Forum - 04-05-2006

The new valves have gone in. The kibblewhite spring kit uses double springs which are a slightly larger diameter than the stock springs, but it all fits perfectly. If anyone is considering the swap, I can highly recommend it.

From DirtBikeWorld.net Members Forum - 04-05-2006

The Stainless (Kibblewhite) valves from Thumpertalk have been great. I've done about 2000-2500km on them and I've done just one adjustment since I got it running, and even then it was only one of the intakes that had opened up a bit. Shimmed it about 500km's ago and it's been perfect since.

In fact, I've been so pleased that I've recently (2 weeks ago) done another WR with the same gear.

I don't race with them, but the bike does get a good workout pretty much every weekend. but for a cheap, longer-lasting alternative, the Kibblewhite stuff has been great for me.

So there you go...a very positive review for you to consider. I'd definitely do it again (and most likely will, now that everyone around here know's I've done it twice now.

I think that the springs used is why most of the valve failures have occured. Once they sack out, trouble is close by. IMO Kibblewhite is the best answer to the problem.
